Our Training.
Understanding your needs is part of what we do, and is integral to ensuring you achieve your goals.
Our private training sessions will focus on improving overall fitness and movement health. Individualized programming will help improve posture, reduce aches and pains associated with injury and improve strength and endurance.
No matter what the sport or the level, our team will help improve conditioning, strength and muscular endurance. With sound scientific knowledge and experience, we will improve movement patterning and muscle engagement for better performance.
Whether it is an old nagging injury, or one that has recently occurred, our experienced trainers will devise a program to get you moving again. Exercises will address not only the injury, but the whole body to restore function and activity at any level.
The beauty is in the details.
Widely recognized for its precision training, the STOTT PILATES Movement System is ideal for creating a body that is both healthy and efficient. The system serves as the foundation for tailored exercise programming, which means that every individual gets a workout that is suited specifically for them.
The STOTT PILATES system encompasses every exercise in the repertoire using every piece of small and large equipment. It can easily be applied to any type of training to achieve desired results and determined goals.
Each client will be evaluated, so a baseline fitness level can be determined. Suitable exercises are chosen to improve functional movements and specific requirements. The exercises are taught with attention to detail, so each movement is performed with precision and control.
The Equipment.
Recognized as the best in the industry, Wasaga Pilates uses only Merrithew equipment.
V2 Max Plus Reformer
The V2 Max Plus Reformer is the most easily recognized piece of Pilates equipment. The sliding platform uses spring resistance to target both large and small muscle groups in the whole body.
Stability Chair
The size of the Stability Chair is deceiving compared to it’s ability to support a full-body workout. Unlike traditional fitness equipment where more weight is harder, using lighter resistance on the Chair often increases the challenge. Overall strength and stability are the targets of this little gem.
Barrels
Used on their own or along with other pieces of equipment, the Ladder Barrel, Arc Barrel, Stability Barrel and Spine Corrector are used to support, align, strengthen and lengthen the torso. They are best used to modify exercises for each individual, ensuring the best performance of each move.
